My Story

My name is Rhonelle Shallow and I have been a designer since birth. My creative passions are painting, music, photography, and design. I was privileged to win a full tuition scholarship to the Art Institute of Atlanta, where I won the Multimedia competition without having a clue what that even was — I guess I was good at it. After college, I started my career working for a small agency that allowed me to wear several hats and gave me exposure to both print and digital media.

Over the past 20+ years, I've evolved from designer to Senior Web Project Manager, gaining a wealth of experience by working with the most talented people in the industry. I've led digital transformation and enterprise web operations across corporate, government, K-12 education, and international environments — designing brand campaigns and websites, managing multi-site and multi-language CMS migrations (Optimizely, Drupal), and training cross-functional teams to carry the work forward long after I've handed off the keys. The range of positions I've held has given me insight into the full lifecycle of any project: project management, design, content management, front-end development, and application development.

Most recently, I spearheaded a team of 10 in designing, developing, and launching 59 Drupal websites for the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) and Tribal schools — delivering the project a full year ahead of schedule and training 185 staff members along the way.
